Google Fixes Favicon Bug & Crawl Stats Missing Data
Google has fixed two recent Search bugs: a favicon display issue that caused many websites to show the default globe icon instead of their actual favicon, and a Google Search Console Crawl Stats issue that left approximately two days of data missing. Google confirmed the Crawl Stats data gap was fixed on August 23, while the favicon issue was also largely resolved.
