Google Search Console Performance Reports Drop In Impressions/Clicks August 12th
Google has confirmed a logging issue in Google Search Console causing reported impressions and clicks to drop sharply from around August 12–13, 2026. The issue affects both the standard Search performance report and the Generative AI performance report. Google says this is only a reporting problem and does not represent a real decline in search visibility or rankings.
