Google Testing Appending URL Tracking Parameters To Links In AI Overviews
Google appeared to be testing tracking parameters on links shown inside AI Overviews and AI Mode, potentially making it easier to identify traffic coming specifically from AI search results. However, the tracking parameters were later confirmed to come from a Chrome browser extension, not Google itself, so this does not represent an official Google attribution feature.
