Google Testing New Search Bar In Google App

Google is testing a redesigned search bar in its mobile app, replacing the traditional “Search” prompt with “Ask Google” to encourage more conversational, AI-powered searches. The updated design includes a new plus (+) button for uploading content, a white background, and a slimmer layout positioned higher on the screen. The test reflects Google’s ongoing push to integrate AI Mode and multimodal search features into its search experience.
