LinkedIn expands verifications | Social Media Today

LinkedIn is expanding its verification system by allowing users’ past colleagues to confirm their work history, with enough confirmations potentially adding a verification badge to a profile. Verified company pages will also be able to remove people who falsely claim to be current employees. LinkedIn is further expanding verification displays through partnerships with Truecaller and PeerSpot, building on existing integrations with Adobe, TrustRadius, and UserTesting.
