YouTube report examines mainstream culture | Social Media Today
YouTube’s new Trends and Culture report finds that mainstream culture is not disappearing but evolving through creators, memes, communities and online participation. The study shows that 63% of respondents increasingly follow content that people around them also watch, while 77% see YouTube creators as widely known cultural figures.
